The main reaon that I ordered this particular GPS is that I am far-sighted and drive without wearing my reading-glasses. Thus, I cannot read small print or examine a map while operating our vehicle. This 7" screen is absolutely perfect for persons that have a similar dilemma. Add to that asset the fact that the "voiced" (audio) directions/instructions are pronounced clearly and understandably in a timely manner! My wife and I are very happy with our choice of the Magellan Roadmate 7" and highly recommend it!

Think the RoadMate 7" Touchscreen by Magellan,is way over priced...My Tom Tom was a much better unit..If I could trade it for another would...
