The base unit worked fine, but only had a short cord &, after I bought a longer one, it wouldn't fit. Also, unless I had the handset within just a few feet from the base unit, it wouldn't work for more than an hour or so, always displaying error messages. I even purchased a new battery for the handset hoping that would make a difference; but, it didn't. Very disappointed in this item.

This is the perfect phone for my home. I keep the base unit on my desk where I can use the hands free feature, and the cordless makes it handy not to miss a call from anywhere else in the house.

Theae phones are not pricey but work very well. A clear sound and large enough for even me to use. I'm Legally Blind but my Son isn't. He has the corded one at his computer desk and doesn't wander off with my cordless anynore!! A great buy!
