I received this product today -- thanks for shipping it so fast! The heater works fine for a few minutes until the thermostat decided to shut itself off. I am assuming it has to do with the flames. I do not think my wall socket cannot handle that much power along with the flame, thermostat and the computer on. I love the structure of this "antique" heater and fits well in my room. I don't want to return it, so I will have to get used to it.

This is the best heater I have ever purchased. It looks great, fits in any room, quiet, and puts out lots of heat and warms the entire room. Get one if you can.

I have a very small apartment and so badly wanted a little fireplace to visually warm the room up in the winter (I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). It suits my living room perfectly and I love it. I don't have to use it as a heater and I like that, it can be on without any worry of possibly overheating.

The flame and lights ran for about 30 minutes and then stopped. Put in new light bulbs and continue not to work. Heat is fine but do not have promised effects.
