Did not have adapter for my Sanyo TV. Would have to buy Adapter (35.00) to connect it. Not worth it. Any suggestions?

Cannot hook up to my system. Tried all connectors but can't find the right one for my Sanyo TV. An adapter would cost me 40.00 bucks. Not worth it.
