The item is soft and adds extra cushion to the sofa. I'm not quite certain of why straps were added to the item and, I'm afraid it's much too expensive. I couldn't afford another for the loveseat.

It's a very wonderfully, thick sofa cover, which is easy to care for!!? It makes my couch look magnificent!!! Knowing it's from Wards means it'll last me for many years!!!

This product says non-skid. It doesn't have enough backing to make it non-skid, it looks bad most of the time and I have to constantly adjust it. I purchased to take the place of throws, I actually think the throws stay in place better. Highly disappointed.

This particular sofa cover was a great find. It fit the sofa great and was very easy to put on the sofa. I looked all over for a sofa cover and never could find one that would fit my furniture. My sofa has over-stuffed arm rests and back cushions and there was no cover I could find to fit until I came across this one. Was a great price and was even cheaper than other ones that would not fit as good and were no where near the thickness as this one. A great find.
