Although the tong set is very good quality, I prefer to have a different type of "catch" mechanism for keeping the tongs open or closed. Overall, a good buy.

I was so excited to get these because I have a red and yellow kitchen and love the three different sizes I use the small one to cook Bacon and when you tilt them down and pick up the food they lock and and you have to tilt them up to unlock them this is completley backward from the way they are supposed to work so I am sending them back because having to flip them up to let go of my bacon made a mess got Bacon grease everywhere not good sorry

These tongs are wonderful. I have a Rachael Ray set I paid a lot more for and am not happy with. This set is great! Love the simplicity if how they lock, wonderful to store and so easy to clean.
