Unlike high-temperature curling irons and rollers, the Topstyler uses low, gentle heat to shape and set your hair without damaging it. The secret is in the C-Shells—ceramic-lined clips that heat up in minutes on the thermal base, then set your style as they cool.

Inspired by the old-fashioned technique of pin-curling, C-Shells are easy to use: just curl a section of dry hair around your fingers (or the included EZ Wrap Style Wand), then clip a C-Shell over the hair and leave it in place for 5-20 minutes (less time for looser curls, more time for tighter curls).
