Do you have to play the same movie for both to play at same time ?

Is there a protection plan offered?

Hello Tei, We do not offer a protection plan for the7" Dual Screen Portable DVD Player by Supersonic but there is a One Year Parts & Labor Warranty with the manufacturer. We hope this information is helpful!

Do they have the both be on the headrest next to each other? Cause I have a preteen and a rearfaceing car seat for my newborn.

They both do not need to be on the headrest. As long as the cord that connects the two together reaches each device.
