Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I've had this AC for about a month now, and it's working great. I really like all the functions it has, it's not too loud, the cool settings get really cool, and all in all, I couldn't be more pleased. The only thing I might say, is that maybe the instructions for putting on the side panels could be more detailed, as it didn't really mention that the panel accordions slide into these plastic attached grooves on the sides of the AC, but if you look at the parts closely, it's fairly self-explanatory, and I got them on right...I think, lol! ;)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unit performance The combination of 90 degree temps & 70% humidity allows the 8K BTU Ward's window a/c unit to keep my 10' x 14' bedroom area cooler than ordinary fans, but just barely so. Wish it provided more cooling during the daylight sunny hours & not just during the night-time sun-less but still humid time! I enjoy the remote control device that allows me to select & maintain an energy-saving usage of electricity so that I can somewhat justify the usage of this unit despite its inability to provide the expected cool-down of my living space w/o the need of also using box fans to aid the cooling process.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little loud. I bought this AC window unit about a month ago . The unit is preforming good but it does produce a little too much noise for me being a new unit.
