I lost my manual for my Desktop scanner. I need the steps to get me thru to set it up. Have had for awhile & haven't got to use yet. Thank You

Find the program button look up the channels u want to put in by pressing the key pd numbers and after u r done putting in the frequency u want hit enter and remember to repeat the step each channel u put in

Can I get my hometown activity with this unit

Yes you can all you need is the code numbers (ex.155.732) that will be your home town codes. You should be able to get fire,police ambulance etc. I hope it helped
