While the blender itself is ok. I purchased this because it has a pot protector that would keep me from scraping up the pot with i use it to smooth out my tomato soup. The first time I used it, I'm not sure how long it stayed on.. Maybe one or two pulses, but it then because so wrapped up on the bladder that i had to use something else to get the pot protector off the blender.
Graduated i calendar both off, cooled down the soup a little, even thought it wasn't very hot, and tried again. I was able to pulse it 4 times before i found it twisted in to a knot and on the bottom of my soup.
If i have to transfer stuff to a different bowl to blend it, i could use thei already have?!?!
Without the pot protection, this blender is no better than my West bend that had adjustable speed, a frother and a wisk.

Meh !
Nice quality. Looks good but its heavy due to the higher amp motor. Its messy if your not paying attention. It's easy to clean. Sadly, I myself have not found a use for it yet.

I am enjoying the blender.
I have used this several times since I received it. It works very well, just as advertised. I have used it to make shakes, smoothies and some sauces. It was more powerful than I expected. It turns a lot faster than I was expecting. I am looking forward to using it more and more.
