That is probably a question that you should ask by calling customer service and requesting that someone review your bill total for your order of the towels. My most educated guess would be that arose total for the towels themselves maybe $24.99, it is probable that there was some sort of tax included, especially if you happen to live in the state in which the actual company of Montgomery Ward operates from, and then, there is also a shipping charge. Depending upon whether or not you want the item to arrive a bit more quickly than through standard shipping oh, there may be an additional charge for the expedited service. I know it seems like it can add up pretty quickly, but when you are dealing with a mail-order or Internet type company, it is to be expected that there may be a few extra charges that you would not see normally in a brick-and-mortar retail store. It is the trade-off for the convenience sitting at home shopping in your pjs rather than getting dressed and going out to the store. That being said, the quality of the Kingfield towels at Montgomery Ward is extremely good. They are a large towel, actually oversized, not extremely heavy weight wise but they are a good substantial weight. They are soft and highly absorbent and the colors are crisp, clean, and bright. No washed-out colors here at all! The towels hold up very well with washing and really are a wonderful addition to any bathroom. I had originally purchased to Kingfield striped oversized towel set and gave it to my son so he could use it when he goes to the beach as beach towels. Yes, they are that big! And actually they are wider than your conventional beach towel. I would not hesitate to purchase them again and as a matter of fact I will most likely be making an additional purchase of the Kingfield hotels in the very near future. Bottom line, I would say to contact customer service concerning the total due for the towels but I would not hesitate to purchase them as I don't think you will be disappointed.
