Just place your sandwiches in the grill baskets, toast and enjoy! You can even add ham or turkey to your sandwiches before toasting—and, of course, you can use it like a regular toaster, too. No grill cheese for you from
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
I bought this for mother elderly mother because her favorite thing she likes to eat is grilled cheese sandwiches.
I thought this would be a wonderful Christmas gift for her.
I was over visiting her yesterday and I asked her if she had used her grill cheese maker and she told me that she had only used it once. That it didn't work well in making the grill cheese and it smokes really bad.
I was so disappointed I was so hoping that it would make it easy for her to make her favorite sandwich but it turns out it doesn't make a decent sandwich at all.
I believe I still have a few days to try and return it. Very sad that it doesn't live up to its name.

Great Xmas present
I gave this to my daughter & her family 4 Xmas. Thought it would be easier to make grilled cheese sandwiches & my 11 yr old & 9 yr old grandsons would be able to use it.

worked great for the grill cheese love the baskets you put them in however cannot use as toaster as one side doesn't close in on bread like supposed to. is fine since mainly wanted it for grill cheese.
