Waiting for It to Work!
I purchased this machine b/c the laundry rooms in my bldg. are out of order too much for the number of apts. here. Unfortunately, I've only washed ONCE. First, I had to buy a female adapter for the water intake hose to fit my sink; only not expensive, just inconvenient. But then, the 2nd time I wanted to wash, that same water intake valve [on the back of the machine, plastic] and the W.I. hose couldn't work together. That is, the hose couldn't be screwed onto the valve straight where it wouldn't leak. Tried everything. Turns out - if you look at it, the valve is twice as long as the hose piece that's supposed to screw in. How could it NOT leak if it doesn't connect FLUSH?? And, the customer service company that RCA uses is useless; called them a couple of times but on this last problem, they're supposed to call back. That was last Friday, still waiting. ALL I WANT TO DO IS WASH. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO RUN AROUND TO HARDWARE STORES TO FIND PARTS THAT FIT. Let's solve this problem. Thank you. If you want pictures, let me know.

perfect for apartment
I moved to an apartment last week, hookups were for a stacked washer/dryer combination only in a tiny closet. I ordered this RCA portable washer thinking maybe it would hook up in the closet instead of to the sink. All I had to do was remove the sink adapter and it hooked up perfect. So I just ordered the RCA dryer. For now I am using a dryer rack. The washer worked as good as I expected it would. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it for apartment use.

Leaks
I order this machine I put drain hose on and hook everything up and try to wash one shirt and it leak all over the floor I try again puting hose on see if it was on right it leaked again all over the floor . I thought a drain hose was suppose drain in the tub or sink but somewhere it leaking I think seal is broke on the black hose or something . another thing I had to buy clamps cause I didn't get any.might be a good thing to have if mine wasnt leaking I am scare to use it cause leaking cause I live up stairs and water gets all over floor I afraid neighbor going complain about flooding her out

NON STOP WASHING
She runs it 24 hours a day, non stop!! It shakes my ceiling and makes a racket. I cannot sleep at night, can it burn out or cause a fire by non stop washing all day and night everyday 30/31 days a month? Normal washing machines have warnings. Does this machine?

You push the top piece of the hose down and put it on the faucet while pulling it up, that's what I did and it worked great

Just brought this and I put drain hose on right and try to use this washer 3 times it drain all over the floor I don't think the hose works right it don't seem it fit right and I didn't even get clamps for drain hose
I too had problems with the drain hose leaking and flooding the floor,but I put a clamp on that I bought from the auto parts store and I haven't had any more problems with the flooding John
