How cute! Nice and heavy
When I saw this on the cover of my catalog, I knew it was the perfect gift for my in-laws! Let me explain… Years ago, they had a lush and tree-filled yard. Being eclectics, we discussed hiding a monkey in one of the trees to see if anyone would notice. They moved to another city, but that (fantasized) monkey was still common in our conversations. THIS beauty is PERFECT, and now they have their little (well, not so little) monkey to grace their new landscape!

Great size!
I bought the elephant solar light a few weeks ago. I Love it! It is a great addition to my garden. Big enough that it can be seen. Heavy enough so it won't fall over, but light enough to pick up.

Very disappointed when I rec'd my elephant y'day & there was no lantern shipped. Since it was supposed to be a gift, I now have to shop for something else. Don't order this item if you're counting on it coming with everything included.

totally broke down
I thought this item was adorable, but after two months in the summer weather, the decoration broke down. This appears to be some type of painted plaster and should not be labeled for outside.

So I got all 3 safari animals. I am wondering do you have to have the lantern on all the time? If it is solar why a battery needed. How do the batteries recharge?

The Lantern has an on/off switch. The battery included is rechargeable by solar power. The battery is also replaceable with one AA battery. We hope this information is helpful!
