i haven't purchased yet but i mainly want to decorate my mom's small yard. I always go over to put finishing detailed touches to all items i purchase like this and sometimes add a little more to them. That's just what i do. Not only that how i keep them going is a few times a month i gently wipe them off and if they are looking like the paint is going to fade i spray with a gloss protective coat. Honestly it's to be expected to have to change the panel after a little while. Depending on how hot your area gets we all know things to get sun-baked if just left and no care. The biggest thing is if you are going to leave them out during winter definitely make sure they are water proof. I'm only saying all this from experience. I mean if you want nice things and want them to stay nice you have to care for them just like dusting inside your home or vacuuming sweeping wiping counters down. Just saying. I'm rating it at a 3 only cause i haven't received it yet. I will change my rating later after I receive my item.

Color faded in 1 summer. Solar also quit working 1st summer. Would not recommend

The light does not highlight the entire body of the peacock and, there is no light on the tail at all. The peacock is hard to see at night

Disappointed
I loved it when I bought it. I still love it but it no longer lights up. Water got into it where the battery goes and rusted it out. I tried to clean and fix it but was unable to get it to work again. I still love to look at it. But for the price it should have held up better. It is made for outside so the works compartment should have been water proofed.
