Rated 2 out of 5 by from Old fashioned This was a gift that I’d been hinting about for a while, was very pleased when I first got it, however, and I drink coffee 2-4x daily, well after a few usages, the plastic clear knob on top cracked. I didn’t give it much thought but within a few weeks the knob broke off completely! I’ve been going to second hand stores looking for that particular part with no avail. Really upset about this as it was a gift so now I have to go back to using my electric coffee maker which is a big difference in taste!

About how long does it stay warm? What's the inside made of?

Hi, The Percolator is Stainless Steel. Your pot can remain on the stove top after percolating and will stay hot as long as the burner is on. Thanks for reaching out!
