what is the weight of lamp and what is it made of and can it be turned off at the lamp
Hello Sally The lamp weighs between 12 to 12.5 pounds depending on the color. It has an MDF frame with plastic laminate. The shade is made of cloth/plastic. There is a pull chain to shut it off. We hope this information has been helpful.

The lamp must be placed close to a outlet cord regular length of any lamp cord and no switch on cord has a put cord to turn off and on
